Refresh your skincare routine by #multimisting with Pixi. In this Pixi Beauty face mist review, we are discussing their line of Skintreats skin care products, including the Glow Mist, Makeup Fixing Mist, Hydrating Milky Mist, and Vitamin Wakeup Mist.
Before we get started, you may be asking yourself,
"What is multi-misting?"
Multi-misting is the act of using multiple facial sprays in your skincare and/or makeup routine.
Pixi's facial mists are designed for all skin types so you can incorporate them into your morning or night skincare routine no matter if you have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin (like me), dry skin, or combination skin. However, that being said, please make sure to review the complete list of ingredients in any skin care or makeup product before purchasing or testing it on yourself to ensure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients.
While facial mists have been around for a while in the beauty industry, Pixi Beauty has introduced an affordable line-up of sprays to the market. Compared to 1 FL oz of Mac's Fix Plus, which retails for $12, Pixi's Makeup Fixing Mist is a much better deal and a great dupe! Here's the deal:
- contains 2.7 FL oz of product,
- retails for $15,
- is paraben-free,
- and has not been tested on animals. YAY!

Do the mists soak your face?
No! The bottles feature a fine nozzle that spritzes just the right amount of product to ensure you don't experience the dreaded wet face, mist-dripping-down-your-face effect. Pixi's mists are just right. Goldilocks would approve.
Where can I buy the Pixi face mists?
These products can be purchased either directly from Pixi Beauty's website or at Target, either online or in stores in their beauty section. I have included links to both retailers below for convenience!
Pixi Beauty Skintreats Hydrating Milky Mist
What does it do? Featherlight, mist-on moisturizer that provides a surge of hydration with hyaluronic acid to plump skin by trapping moisture.
Key Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid and Black Oat
Now, you might be thinking,
"what on earth is hyaluronic acid?"
I know that question sure crossed my mind. It turns out hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugary molecule, also known as HA, in your body's connective tissues and skin's structure that helps moisturize your joints.
What does this do for your skin?
Hyaluronic acid helps plump, soften, and smoothen skin while providing moisture and balance. Naturally, as we age, our skin sags due to lack of ability to retain moisture. Although aging is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about, hyaluronic acid helps to prevent sagging.
Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Mist
What does it do? All-over face mist for a glowing, luminous, and smooth complexion.
Key Ingredients: Propolis and Argan Oil
I'm sorry. You said,
Propolis. It's basically "bee glue." I'm sorry. Again, what?! Yes, you read that right. The resinous mixture that honey bees pick up from botanical sources like tree buds or sap flows is known as propolis.
Trust me when I say it's a hidden gem when it comes to skincare, as it helps to balance, heal, and soothe skin. This is a definite plus for those of us with problematic skin.
